Inspired, shifting gears and giving thanks →
Yesterday I had the opportunity to speak with someone who has been a major influence and helped inspire me to pursue the craft of blacksmithing ten years ago. The first time I laid eyes on Daniel Miller’s work it opened my mind to the elegance, precision, balance and articulate expression that could be achieved through well designed and meticulously executed metalwork. From the finest...

Mailbox posts are so hot right now. →
Shots from the fabrication of a custom mailbox post that I just finished building. Decorative and elegant. Straightforward design with interchangeable parts and customizability. Everybody has and/or needs a mailbox, RIGHT? Why not one that’s handcrafted, indestructible and aesthetically pleasing?

Video produced by my wonderful friend Dan Freund of Kinney Hill Media Partners.

HFW @ OAK
After hearing OAK proprietor Keara Sexton on WBUR, I immediately contacted her to see if she was interested in showcasing some of my work in her shop. The holidays were a very busy time for both of us. Finally, today, I brought some of my most recent creations to display in her boutique at the corner of Gloucester Street and Newbury. In a couple weeks, OAK will be moving just around the corner...
